A quick Google search will tell you that Great Lake is a natural lake and man-made reservoir that is located in the central northern region of Tasmania, Australia. It will tell you that it was “made” in 1967, with a surface area approximately 176 km2 (68 sq mi), a max length of 24.6 km (15.3 mi), a max width of 12 km (7.5 mi) and around 1,030 m (3,380 ft) above sea level.
